The issue of sustainability is high on the agenda at Ash and so we were delighted to be asked to launch specialist eco-homes website, whatgreenhome.com, in 2008. In the absence of any other marketing activity, our PR campaign has built - and sustains - a responsive following for the portal.
During the launch, our media relations campaign drove 53 per cent of traffic to the site and it continues to punch above its weight.
In 2008, a total of 24 pieces of coverage were generated in national newspapers, consumer and trade magazines with a further 23 pieces of coverage appearing online. The total number of unique users reached via online coverage was approximately 29 million.
In 2009, Ash Communications secured 26 national, 17 consumer, five regional newspapers and 21 online pieces of coverage reaching a combined audience of over 45 million people. Currently, the site attracts more than 7,000 visitors per month.
