An urban tale of fashion and creativity

In 2015, China’s Premier Li Kequang announced it would be the year of UK-China Cultural Exchange.  To tie in with London Fashion Week in September, Shanghai Fashion Week Organising Committee in London wanted to mark the occasion with a major event, exhibition and catwalk show.

Working with our Chinese partner, ACTIVE Anglo-Chinese Communications, we recommended a major fashion forum to be branded Shanghai-London, An Urban Tale of Fashion and Creativity.  A prominent panel of speakers was secured comprising an author, fashion designer, senior business executives and entrepreneurs from leading Chinese companies and organisations such as Zaha Hadid.

The forum attracted an audience of over 100 professionals and opinion leaders from the fashion and creative industries, buyers, media and social commentators, including Caroline Rush, the chief executive of the British Fashion Council.  Extensive media coverage was generated including the Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, Menswear Style, This is Money, Reuters UK, Men’s Style Fashion, Real Business and many more.
